Biddy Ball
Designed for grades K -1st this program is great for the beginning basketball player.  The main focus for the program include skills development drills in dribbling, passing and ball control. The program begins with fun progressive dribbling drills to familiarize all players with the ball. Passing drills will concentrate on developing the basics, using drills designed to focus on fundamental mechanics, pace and passing accuracy.

Recreation League
Designed for children in grades 2 - 6, game-play is introduced and focused on teaching basketball skills, teamwork and fostering a fun, positive experience. We strive to give all participants equal playing time.  All games have referees.  Good sportsmanship is mandatory.  Participants will learn the court markings, game rules, dribbling, shooting, passing, offensive/defensive maneuvers, and teamwork.  This is a developmental league.  All games are played within the towns of the Quabbin district. 

Travel League

Teams consist of both a boys and girls division, with teams at the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade levels.

The travel league is a competitive extension of the QYBL and consists of players from Barre, Oakham, Hardwick, New Braintree, Hubbardston and those students who school choice to the Quabbin School District. We compete against surrounding teams which include Winchendon, Gardner, Bolton, Harvard, Groton, Athol, Littleton, Fitchburg, Acton, Leominster, Westminster, and Lunenburg.

 Teams usually practice 2 times per week, with all games being played on Sunday afternoons.  The season begins in November and runs through early March.  Home games for all grade levels are held at Quabbin Regional Middle or High School.  Teams with winning records qualify for inter-league playoffs, which are held at the end of the regular season.
